After three years spent within the GCC group as a pricing study manager, Pierre Vidal becomes aware of the aging urban infrastructures and the major challenges related to their maintenance, both for the workers and the public.

Numerous discussions with his friend, Anil Narrassinguin, a computer engineer, then foster a joint reflection: rethinking the maintenance of buildings by integrating artificial intelligence and technology.

Joined by their third companion and friend, Clément Verges, as managing director, they found FlyRenov, a subsidiary of the GCC group, with the ambition of accelerating the technological transition of the construction industry and revolutionising the intervention methods in building.

2020

Intrapreneurship as a drive.

The FlyRenov project was launched in 2020 thanks to an intrapreneurship programme initiated by the GCC group. Winner of an internal competition, Pierre Vidal benefits from dedicated support and the necessary time to structure his heritage renovation project, with the aim of accelerating the transition of the construction industry through technology.

In less than a year, the company takes shape through in-depth market studies, the development of a solid business plan, and the validation of a development plan in collaboration with GCC.

2021

Company creation: a first project for the social landlord INLI.

The first year of FlyRenov was dedicated to developing a drone that combines the application of treatment products and high-pressure cleaning, with a high level of safety and performance.

After a year of testing and optimisation, FlyRenov undertakes its first project in the Metz region, cleaning two HLM buildings for the social landlord INLI. This pilot project marks a key milestone, validating the technology and paving the way for new tenders.

2022

One mission: to put intelligence at the service of renovation.

In 2022, FlyRenov accelerated its technological development with the arrival of a software R&D director. This dynamic allows addressing more complex issues on-site and extends the drone's capabilities to new services such as roof de-mossing and cleaning wind farm infrastructures.

The year is marked by the integration of advanced vision sensors, wall-distance management systems, and a wired power supply, paving the way for new strategic markets.

2023

FlyRenov obtains its first patent and recruits new drone pilots.

The year 2023 marks a turning point for FlyRenov with the acquisition of its first patent, dedicated to a tethered drone for surface treatment of buildings. This innovative technology ensures unlimited autonomy and secure real-time communication.

At the same time, the company is strengthening its teams with the recruitment of two new drone pilots and the acquisition of a multi-year contract (BPU) with Périgord Habitat, confirming FlyRenov's increasing prominence in the renovation sector.

2024

Over 124,000 m² of maintained area and soaring growth.

With over 124,000 m² of maintained surfaces, FlyRenov is experiencing rapid growth. The company secures 4 multi-annual contracts, wins 10 public tenders, and signs over 20 agreements by mutual consent.

On the innovation front, FlyRenov files two patents: a distance-maintaining system for precise control, as well as a solution for autonomous flights incorporating advanced 3D mapping to optimise the coverage of the surfaces to be treated.

And as if that weren't enough, in 2024 FlyRenov becomes a laureate of the France 2030 program for its innovation.
